CYWU NATIONAL CONFERENCE GIG – HOLIDAY INN, SEATON BURN NEWCASTLE, SATURDAY 25TH APRIL 2009

What a night! What a Band! How am I expected to go to work after a night like that?

You guys were truly amazing! Thanks for making our annual conference dinner dance an event to remember for a very long time.

That was some of the best live music I have ever heard, and you all looked like you were enjoying it as much as the rest of us!

Everyone is still talking about your versions of ‘Chasing Cars’, ‘The Power of Love’, ‘Shake a Tail Feather’, and ‘Rappers Delight’, and many of the guests have told me that they thought you were just incredible, and left the place buzzing.

Can we book you again the next time we are in the North East?

Thanks for everything – Keep on Rocking!

Paul Boskett

President CYWU Section of Unite the Union

Hi Paul,

Thanks again for playing at our Ball last friday. I had such a good night, and the fact i was still hung over saturday evening meant it must have been a good night!! Thankyou so much for playing, both sets were superb and everyone i've spoken too since have commented on that 'extra something' that you guys brought to the evening.

The Purple Supper Band played, no sorry MADE, our end of year ball. With 100 people celebrating the end of a hard year they were allowed to do so in true style as they dined to a fine medley of piano and sax music, before the tempo was raised (as were bums from chairs) and the whole band performed songs which kept getting better. To say that the evening wouldn't have been the same without them is a fact. The evening was a huge success and wouldn't have been without the contribution of the Purple Supper Band. I wish them all the best and hope that as many people as possible are lucky enough to hear them.

Thanks again mate for everything you did, much appreciated.

Richard
